UK Travel Corridor Update

With the introduction of a new national Coronavirus lockdown across England and a ban on non-essential travel, including holidays, does the UK safe ‘Corridor List’ continue to apply to those select few still able to travel for business reasons?

According to the UK Government, the UK safe ‘Travel Corridor’ list that contains countries such as Sweden, Greece and the Canary Islands among others, will remain in place for the foreseeable.

This means that anyone returning home from one of the ‘safe’ destinations, after the 00:01am curfew on the 5th November when lockdown begins, will not be required to self-isolate for 14 days. On the contrary, anyone returning from a destination not on the ‘safe list’ will still be required to self-isolate’ for 14 days at present.

Which countries are on the ‘Safe Corridor List’?
