Travelling to Lithuania
British nationals travelling to Lithuania from the UK, who do not display symptoms of COVID-19, will need to self-isolate for 10 days. You may leave isolation earlier if you have a negative COVID-19 PCR test, taken no earlier than 48 hours before your arrival, or taken in Lithuania after your arrival. For British nationals travelling to Lithuania from any other country deemed a high risk for COVID-19, the same rules apply. You should arrange to take a private test.
If you are able to provide proof of recovery from Coronavirus (within the last 3 months) then you may be exempt from isolation.
British nationals travelling to Lithuania by air, sea, bus or train from any overseas destination, including the UK, will need to complete an online registration form prior to arrival.
Returning from Lithuania
When you return, you must follow the rules for entering the UK. You:
- need to provide your journey and contact details up to 48 hours before you’re due to arrive in the UK
- you do not need to quarantine on your return to the UK.
