Restrictions: The Latvian Government has announced a State of Emergency from 9 November to 6 December 2020, which includes restrictions on the opening of catering, retail, entertainment and leisure establishments and limits on the number of people allowed to gather at private and public events both indoors and outdoors.

Asymptomatic travellers arriving in Latvia from the UK are required to self-isolate for 10 days. Everyone who intends to enter Latvia is required to complete and submit an electronic form no earlier than 48 hours before entering Latvia.
Returning from Latvia
When you return, you must follow the rules for entering the UK. You:
- need to provide your journey and contact details up to 48 hours before you’re due to arrive in the UK
- are not allowed to leave the place you’re staying for the first 14 days you’re in the UK except in very limited situations (known as ‘self-isolating’)
