jet2holidays launch bristol airport

In positive news for the UK travel sector, and Jet2holidays have today announced the opening of a Bristol base for Summer 2021.

The company will base 3 aircraft at Bristol, flying to 33 destinations, including popular spots like Turkey, the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. The destinations include four new and exclusive destinations from Bristol Airport – Izmir in Turkey; Kalamata and Lesvos in Greece; and Costa de Almeria in Mainland Spain.

Jet2 will operate up to 56 flights per week and have 450,000 seats on sale. Operations will begin on 1st April with an inaugural flight to Lanzarote.

Jet2 boss Steve Heapy said “We know how much demand there is, because we have been listening to customers and independent travel agents in the region for some time. We are delighted to be bringing them the news they have been looking forward to.”
