Cyprus covid coronavirus travel restrictions

Current Status:

No quarantine on arrival and the country is on the UK ‘Safe-Travel Corridor’ list. You will require a negative test before entering.

Cyprus will be removed from the UK’s safe ‘Travel Corridor List’ from 0400am on 1st November 2020.

Masks: Mandatory in public and private spaces with some exemptions.
Social Distancing: Restaurants and cafe-bars are permitted to offer seating inside and outdoors. The minimum distance allowed between tables is 2sqm outdoors and 3sqm indoors, and no more than 6 people are allowed at one table. Social distancing (2m) is required in all public outdoor spaces including parks, gardens and the beach. Paphos and Limassol area have night-time curfews 11pm-5am for cafes, bars and restaurants.

On 31 July 2020 The Republic of Cyprus government announced that COVID-test results can be in the form of an email or SMS, but the test result itself and/or appointment letter must include the date and time when the test was taken. Children under 12 years old do not require a test in order to travel to Cyprus. Visitors are also required to complete the Cyprus Flight Pass questionnaire.
